TODDLER SLEEP & RELAXATION TIPS, Featuring Dockatot

We love nap time around here, well I should say, I do.

My toddler is currently trying to fight off his naps and it makes me feel terrified. I'm thinking I will soon be facing the harsh reality of that hour to myself, disappearing. However, I have come across some major revolutionary concepts and an amazing product I have to share with you guys!

Let's get right to the cheddar of this post, shall we? The amazing lounger you all just saw in the images above. How beautiful is that design? Dockatot sent this co-sleeper over and it's a GAME CHANGER. James loves enjoying it to relax, snooze mid cartoon and if your into co-sleeping, they have a Deluxe for 0-8 months and the Grand (shown above) for 9-36 months. Thankfully, even when the day does come that naps are no longer a thing, he will relax in his Dockatot.

The hubs and I were reluctant on trying the Dockatot when James was a baby, but after a ton of research, we have found they are OEKO-TEX certified, tested for breathability and made from 100% natural cotton. Which quickly translates to, the next baby will be sleeping in our bed with the Dockatot verses next to the bed. Hello, quick and easy nursing, goodbye trying to lift an 8 lb. baby postpartum, I still remember how terrible that was with James. I'll leave a link down below for your guys to save $10, just click and order, you'll thank me later.

A few other quick tips I have for toddler sleep and relaxation, turn on a some soothing music. I find this helps James drift off and fall into a deeper sleep, fast. Meaning less work for me! Another tip, keep the room cool, often times babies and toddlers like to relax and feel less irritated when the room is just right. I've found 74 works great for James and I keep a tee and comfy pants on him. Lastly, make sure you are getting them to sleep before they get too fussy and overly tired, but not before they have gotten enough of their energy out. I know that sounds like a small window, but you'll pick up on their cues.

I hope you guys enjoy this post! Sleep can be a funny thing for little ones, but manipulating their surroundings and helping aide sleep with products like Dockatot, makes all the difference! Make sure to check out the link below and get $10 off your Dockatot.
