Time fo change. Some days Motherhood seems impossible, messy and just plain HARD. I've made some simple changes lately to combat motherhood and truly put and end to wanting to pull my hair out.
1. MAKE A SCHEDULE:
We all have a loose schedule, breakfast, play, lunch, etc. but try making a more in-depth schedule and sticking to it. It will keep you feeling "busy" and the tick ticks will seem half as long.
2. SELF CARE:
Stop letting people make you feel bad for needing a break from Motherhood. Any sane person needs time truly alone, because nap time still shouldn't count. Take 2-3 hours to go shop alone, get your nails done, walk to get food.
3. KEEP THEM BUSY:
Have a toddler who is on 100mph ALL DAY?! Yeah, me too, let me know what you find to fix it. Joking, check out my Pinterest board HERE on "busy" activities.
4. START SOMETHING:
Being a Mom is enough to keep you busy, but we all need a hobby, something we are passionate about. A YouTube Channel, a craft, a book club, etc. those also keep us sane.
5. STOP APOLOGIZING:
You gave Susie a cookie to take a break to send out emails, you're not a bad Mom. Accept that you don't have to be perfect!
