It's been a full 2 months since I had my Juvederm lip injections at Dr. Saluja & Dr. Novo's office (all of their information is below.) I am so glad I had my lips done and I wanted to give you guys some detailed answers to questions I have been getting and a full review.
1. WAS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?
The pain level was a 2/10 for me. The pain was extremely tolerable and I believe my pain tolerance is normal. Dr. Saluja used topical numbing cream (no dental block) and I was very surprised how painless the procedure was. Of course, everyones pain tolerance is different and I'm not sure how your doctor would perform. I truly recommend going to Dr. Saluja if you are in Florida!
2. DID YOU GET A FULL SYRINGE?:
Yes, I wanted a full top lip that would compliment a more plump bottom lip so we used a full syringe to achieve the look I wanted. I feel like it was a great decision, your lips will swell of course but then they will return to a more natural fullness.
3. HOW LONG DOES JUVEDERM LAST?:
Juvederm is hyaluronic acid based (which is already in your body naturally) so added solution breaks down naturally over the course of 6-12 months. The nice thing about Juvederm is that it can also be broken down and dissolved by your doctor if you have a situation where you no longer want the injections or if you feel like your are not satisfied.
Doctor to doctor, product to product and amount all come into play with pricing. I will leave the information to Dr. Saluja & Dr. Novo's office and if you plan to go to them they would be happy to answer your questions.
5. WOULD YOU GET INJECTIONS AGAIN?:
YES! I plan to have a little bit of plumping (most likely half a syringe) before we start trying for Baby #2. I can not recommend the FOR YOUR BEST SELF office enough! Dr. Saluja and her staff are amazing.
If you guys are in Florida and want to check out the office I went to go to:
A big thank you to Dr. Saluja and Dr. Novo for having me and allowing me to film and document my experience! Cheers to your best self you guys!
